American Diabetes Association EXPO/Pittsburgh
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The American Diabetes Association EXPO will take place on Saturday November 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The event will be hosted by the American Diabetes Association whose mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by the disease. Attendees will have the chance to view health screenings, cooking demonstrations, and product exhibitors. Additionally, numerous leading experts will speak about the methods of dealing with the harmful consequences of diabetes. Come and receive the latest information on preventing and managing diabetes to help keep you and your family healthy.

On Thursday a group of atheists filed a lawsuit in Harrisburg's federal court in an attempt to modify the prayer protocol at Pennsylvania's House of Representatives saying officials rejected atheists' requests for an opening invocation. The lawsuit stated "Like theists, atheists are capable of giving inspiring and moving invocations, similar to those given in other communities across the U.S., but with one significant difference - the former believe in God, while the plaintiffs do not."
