Takacs Quartet with Marc-Andre Hamelin
In May, 2012, Gramophone Magazine announced that the Takács Quartet was the only string quartet to be inducted into its first Hall of Fame. Motorists who run certain red lights in Pittsburgh next year could be caught by an automatic traffic camera and fined $100 for the violation. Revenues from the traffic fines will be used to make road improvements. Opponents say there's no proof that the red light cameras will result in improved traffic safety.
