Black Friday Survival
Black Friday is coming....And only the strong survive! Stop by Town Center at The Waterfront for a Black Friday Survival Celebration to fuel up on complimentary snacks and coffee as you shop for the best deals of the season. Volunteers from the Western PA Humane Society will also be on site to help you wrap all of those new purchases from 8-11am. The first 100 Waterfront shoppers to join the Black Friday Survival Celebration will receive special Survival Kits, complete with the all of essentials for surviving Black Friday. Department of Homeland Security notified Pennsylvanians there'll be new identification requirements next year to gain admittance to federal facilities like military bases, prisons, and in 2018, to board commercial flights, as state driver licenses and IDs are noncompliant with REAL ID stipulations. Instead either a valid passport, military ID or some other federally issued identification is needed. In 2012 Pennsylvania Legislature defiantly passed Act 38, barring PennDOT participation in REAL ID, denouncing it as an unfunded federal mandated intrusion of privacy.
