Black Friday Survival
Black Friday is coming....And only the strong survive! Stop by Town Center at The Waterfront for a Black Friday Survival Celebration to fuel up on complimentary snacks and coffee as you shop for the best deals of the season. Volunteers from the Western PA Humane Society will also be on site to help you wrap all of those new purchases from 8-11am. You scored some amazing Black Friday rewards, so why not reward yourself for being an awesome shopper? 'Tis the season! The first 100 Waterfront shoppers to join the Black Friday Survival Celebration will receive special Survival Kits, complete with the all of essentials for surviving Black Friday. Some lucky guests will receive surprise Survival gift cards in their bags to shops and restaurants at The Waterfront ranging from $5-$50!
After nearly two-decades, the Bayer Corporation is pulling the plug and ending its lease for the landmark sign that overlooks downtown Pittsburgh. Lamar Advertising owns the sign and although Bayer officials say they have asked Lamar Advertising to upgrade the 30-foot tall sign with brighter and more energy efficient lighting, those efforts were complicated by city regulations on signs and billboards. Bayer began leasing that sign back in 1992 and now, Scenic Pittsburgh wants public input on the sign.
