A new bill being proposed in Harrisburg would allow teachers and employees in public schools in Pennsylvania to carry guns. Senator Donald White, the author of the bill, told the Senate Education Committee that the bill is meant to settle the minds of those worried about school shootings. The measure would authorize school boards to permit administrators and staff to arm themselves as long as they are properly licensed and trained to carry a concealed weapon.
