The Steel Valley School Board voted unanimously to allow a student with special needs to use a faculty lavatory over the objections of the teachers. The teachers' restroom is the only one on the first level of Parks Elementary school and the student has difficulty climbing stairs. The teachers filed a grievance saying their labor contract calls for an exclusive restroom for teachers.
