By a vote of 121 to 70, the State House voted in favor Senate Bill 3 which further restricts Pennsylvania abortions. Much of the debate focused on the part of the bill banning abortions after 20 weeks from the current 24 unless the women's life is endangered, but not for rape or incest. The bill also outlaws a common type of late term abortion procedure called the dilation and evacuation procedure. Governor Wolf promises to veto the bill.
