Rock & Ride at Southshore Riverfront Park
Saturday, June 15th: 2:00pm-7:00pm Join South Shore Riverfront Park, the URA, Riverlife, The South Side Chamber of Commerce as we host the first ever Rock & Ride! A line-up five local bands and Sky Bar’s DJ Benny Wood will rock your ride while you enjoy local food and drink from Allegheny City Smokehouse, ‘Burgh Bites Food Cart, Bella Christie’s Sweet Truck, the Turner Iced Tea Truck and frosty brews courtesy of AMPD Group. Make your own trail mix with Farm to Table Pittsburgh, and enjoy special trail and family-friendly activities throughout the day. All proceeds will benefit the South Side Chamber of Commerce and Riverlife. 2pm: Chuck Owston & The Scarlet Gypsies 3pm: OZO Remedy 4pm: Hepcat Dilemma 5pm: Mother’s Little Helpers 6pm: Meanstreet FREE & open to all ages! As tensions remain high with Russia and much of the Middle East, more voters than ever believe the United States is not putting enough money into national security. According to Rasmussen Reports national Survey, 43-percent of likely U.S. voters think the United States does not spend enough on the military and national security. While 23-percent think the U.S spends too much and 30-percent say defense spending is about right.
