Pittsburgh television news anchor Wendy Bell is suing her former employer for discrimination as she was terminated due to a Facebook post on her station's sponsored account speculating the race and family backgrounds of the suspects who killed five people at a Wilkinsburg picnic while contrasting that with a busboy she and her family encountered later. The lawsuit claims the station violated the Federal Civil Rights Act because "Bell would not have been fired for her comments if she were not white."
