Senate Republicans hope to have a vote on their version of the American Health Care Act, which the House passed on May 4, as soon as next week before Congress breaks for recess. Democrat Senators are criticizing Republicans for legislating in a shroud of secrecy without holding public hearings and not making them privy to the negotiations.
