Harvey Weinstein movie mogul and cofounder of Miramax Productions was fired by his company's board of directors after news broke of his decades-long sexual abuse of women including three separate allegations of rape. Many Hollywood reviewers say Weinstein's behavior is not an isolated instance, but another example of the casting couch culture and sex abuse endured by actresses and actors for decades. Some critics are calling for the Justice Department to launch an investigation into the apparent sex abuse epidemic in the entertainment industry.
