Telling the stories that make Pittsburgh unique, online and in person MYTHBURGH finds myth and inspiration in the creepy, epic, weird, and truly Pittsburgh stories, told by Pittsburghers and adapted by local playwrights into short plays and digital content. Featuring a recurring cast of characters with their own online lives and a site-specific location, Mythburgh will push the limits of live theatre and engage audiences online and in person.
Gettysburg is site of the bloodiest battle in the war between the Union and Confederacy. 1,325 monuments, markers, and plaques, commemorate and memorialize the 46,000 soldiers who died during the battle at Gettysburg. Officials with the National Park Service said the Confederate monuments will NOT be removed from the battlefield, stating that they are committed to safe guarding these unique and site-specific memorials in perpetuity.
